To find the Dial-Up Networking information for VOLstate, you can do the following on your
Windows 95-98 Computer

On the desktop double click My Computer, Then double click , Right click your VOLstate internet connection and click Properties
Click Start, Programs, Accessories, Communications, then Dial-up Networking, Right click the VOLstate internet connection and choose Properties.

The General Tab gives the Phone number and Modem used by the Connection. If you are setting up a standard VOLstate Connection, you can remove the check beside; Use area code and Dialing Properties.

Common prefixes are:

*70, for call waiting

9, for outside line access

These are placed before the Telephone number.

The Server Types Tab Shows the items that should be checked for VOLstate Internet Dial-Up... Those Are: Enable Software Compression and TCP/IP (These are the only two that should be checked)

If you click on the TCP/IP Settings..., you will see that the IP Address and Name Server (DNS) Addresses are all Server Assigned (Assigned by VOLstate)

The DNS Servers Can be Specified as follows if needed:

Primary DNS: 66.129.16.200

Secondary DNS: 66.129.16.201

Primary WINS: 0.0.0.0

Secondary WINS: 0.0.0.0
